What if Wednesday: Specks

What if I create an image using only circular specks to show layers and motion?

This is a digital image using an ink pen to create dots or circles of many sizes. I love how some of the overlapping dots create a visual illusion, your eye fills in the fact that a circle exists even though it is white o white and no edges are really actually there at all. The biggest shapes are with the tool at 100% and the smallest is at 5%. I lost count, but I think there are 5 distinct sizes in there. I feel like this is a snapshot of an active scene and that a few seconds later it would look completely different, and yet perpetually the same.

This is the same image with primary colored specks added into the background. See how those white undefined circles pop right out now? For the colors I only used 2 sizes, 100% and 36%. To me, this one has lost the motion and looks more complete, like those specks are fixed and stuck in the colors and not moving any more, and that the colors may actually be moving underneath them.
